Foothill Car Wash, located at 2355 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge, is presently being demolished. The new owner plans to reorient the assisted car wash to an automated one. 

The design review has been approved by the City of La Cañada Flintridge. It has been a project that has been in production for well over a year, said Antonio Gardea, assistant director of community development with La Cañada Flintridge.

The new owner had acquired the property about a year and a half ago. The planning division does not have a timeline of when the project will reopen; however, the owner does want it to open quickly, according to Gardea. 

The service station part of Foothill Car Wash, where oil changes were done, will be completely demolished and will not be replaced. 

The owner of Foothill Car Wash also owns Bellagio Express Car Wash in Eagle Rock.
