A vehicle pursuit involving a reportedly suspected DUI driver occurred on Sunday evening about 8:59 p.m. Although pursuits on the local freeways are not unusual, this one took a twist when the driver got off the freeway and stopped for gas at a service station on the corner of Honolulu and La Crescenta avenues. 

The maroon colored Dodge Charger had reportedly blacked-out windows and at times speeds were reported at 120 mph.

The pursuit reportedly began in the West Valley and ended in Pasadena near Del Monte Street and Forest Avenue. The three suspects abandoned their vehicle and allegedly attempted to run from the area but were soon taken into custody.
