Donations Needed for Local Organizations

By Mary O’KEEFE

Recently CV Weekly wrote two articles about organizations that need support from the public: iMPACT Foundation LA/CV Cares and Marine Mammal Care Center.

The iMpact Foundation LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by addiction, mental health challenges and emotional isolation. Based in the foothill community of Los Angeles, its mission is rooted in compassion, connection and the belief that healing is possible when people are given access to the right support systems, according to the organization’s website.

People can donate directly or can support its fundraisers like the organization’s annual golf tournament.

The Foundation is able to do the work it does through the donations received. For information and to find out how to donate visit https://theimpactfoundationla.org.

Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles is a non-profit organization funded by caring people. There are many ways to support its life-saving work. As a 501(c)(3) public charity, all donations are tax deductible. Unless otherwise indicated, any financial gifts received will be used in the area of greatest need.
