The annual Lincoln Scholarship Assembly was held on May 22 in the Lincoln Auditorium. The Assembly recognized graduating 12^th graders who, in their early education career, attended Lincoln Elementary School. These senior students returned to the Lincoln stage to talk about their favorite memories of elementary school, reconnect with their kindergarten buddies and share their future college goals with the current Lincoln student body. 

The scholarship recipients also participated in the Lincoln 500 parade and then were treated to a luncheon with their parents and former teachers. Kindergarten teacher Angelina Thomas again chaired the Scholarship Committee and organized the event. 

This year’s recipients were: Adam Hill who received the Mr. Stephen Williams Leadership Scholarship, Kelcie Peterson who received theMrs. Kalish Scholarship, Rachel Park, Ryan Krohn, & Ella Ball who received the Korean PC Scholarship, Anna Baghdanian, Ani Hartoonian & Tenni Derian who received the Armenian PC Scholarship; Oliver Gough & Maxwell Carvalho who received the Lincoln Staff Scholarship; Eleny Matevossian & Victoria Miller who received the Mrs. Duncan Scholarship; Sarah Watnick, Nyra Zadourian, Isabella De Soto Carrillo, & Sebastian Kirk who received the PTA Scholarship; Dominic Esquival, Travis Phillips, Maxwell Starbin & Brooke Weldheim who received theFoundation Scholarship, and Bryce Alonzo & Annabel Dillon who received the Sixth Grade Scholarship. They are joined in the photo with Principal Barbie Fariss, Teacher Angelina Thomas, and GUSD Superintendent Darnika Watson.
