NEWS FROM THE MONTROSE-VERDUGO CITY CHAMBER

A Summer of Connection in Montrose

Before we look ahead to June, we want to thank everyone who joined us for our annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Montrose Vietnam War Memorial. It was a meaningful morning as we came together to honor the men and women who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

June is shaping up to be a busy month filled with opportunities to connect, celebrate local businesses and learn something new. Best of all, all Montrose Chamber events are open to the public!

We’ll kick things off with two ribbon cuttings celebrating family-owned businesses in our community. On Friday, June 12 at 3 p.m., we’ll celebrate the one-year anniversary of Sabrina’s Pizzeria Napoletana, followed by the grand opening of Perla’s Ice Cream on Saturday, June 13 at 11:15 a.m. We’d love to see the community come out and help us celebrate!

Then on Thursday, June 18 from 6 p.m.–8 p.m., join us at The Seasoned Table for our Candlelight & Cabernet Mixer. With wine, live acoustic music, delicious bites and a cozy candlelit atmosphere, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with community members and local business professionals.

We’ll wrap up the month with Dinner & Discover on Wednesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. at toasted. Join us for an informative evening featuring Jack Topalian of ADUs By Jack and financing expert Ani Simonian as they explore what it takes to build an ADU. Whether looking to create additional living space or generating rental income, practical insights into planning, construction and financing will be shared.

From celebrating local businesses to making new connections and discovering new opportunities, June is full of ways to get involved. We hope you’ll join us and be part of the excitement!
