The Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) is offering its annual free summer meal program to help ensure that children have access to nutritional meals when school is not in session. The program will provide free summer meals to GUSD students at the following school sites and at two park sites.
Breakfast and lunch meals will be offered at no charge to students participating in GUSD Summer School and Summer Child Development & Child Care (CDCC) programs. Community meal times are available at Pacific Park for children age 18 and under or individuals with disabilities in the GUSD community who are not participating in the GUSD summer school or summer CDCC programs.
The summer meal program is an important resource for families who depend on school meals for access to healthy food
From June 16 to July 17, meal will be located at Fremont and R.D. White Elementary Schools.
From June 15 to Aug. 7, lunch will be served at Balboa and Edison Elementary Schools & Pacific and Maple Parksfrom 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
From June 15 to Aug. 14, meals will be provided at Cloud, Jefferson, Mann, Muir, Marshall, Monte Vista elementary schools and Pacific Preschool.
From June 15 to July 21, meals will be served at Roosevelt, Rosemont, Toll & Wilson middle schools and Crescenta Valley, Daily, Glendale & Hoover high schools, and College View School.
There will be no meal service at any of the summer meal locations on June 19 and July 3 holidays.
