
Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) – Don José Verdugo Chapter recognized local students with the Good Citizen award.
Four local senior students from La Cañada High School, Crescenta Valley High School, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy and Clark Magnet received awards for being Good Citizens, were recognized by their counselors and represented their schools.
All students and their guests were celebrated with a luncheon and were presented with certificates of achievement and a small monetary award. Honorees were: Lusine Galstyan, a resident of Glendale, attends Clark Magnet. Her parents are Lilet Zakaryan and Gar Galstyan and her counselor is Tamara Johnson.
Charlotte Hong, a resident of La Crescenta, attends Crescenta Valley High School. Her parents are Jung Ha Hong and Neville Hong and her counselor is Lise Sondergaard.
Aleena Rios, a resident of La Cañada, attends La Cañada High School. Her parents are Elizabeth Naveria and Anthony Rios and her counselor is Lisa Chung.
Gianna (Gigi) Casci, is a resident of Altadena, attends Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. Her parents are Allison Casci and John Casci and her counselor is Kirk Nishiyama.
