The California Dept. of Education has awarded Crescenta Valley High School the California Exemplary Arts Education Award. This award recognizes the high school for outstanding excellence in arts education. Schools selected demonstrate broad-based achievement in arts instruction and a commitment to advancing the arts for all students.

This award is an exclusive honor as only 19 schools in the entire state of California received this award this year. It was also a true team effort.

“Our dedicated CV staff and administration collaborated on this application before winter break, and we are so proud that the CDE recognizes the falcon awesome work happening here at CV,” said Christine Benitez, principal at Crescenta Valley High School.
