The Glendale Historical Society announced its “Classic Colonials” Home Tour taking place on Sunday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Held in conjunction with America’s semi-quincentennial and California statehood’s 175th anniversary, the tour will feature homes showcasing Colonial Revival and Monterey Colonial Revival architecture, the latter a uniquely Californian style.

This is an opportunity for volunteers to serve as docents, assist with check-in or help with other event duties. Both full-day and half-day shifts are available with a preference for full-day volunteers. Lunch and snacks will be provided for those volunteering the full day. Docents will receive scripts and background materials in advance, and a training session will be held the day before the home tour.
