On Jan. 15, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital was a community collaborator for the City of Glendale’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Day Community Gathering and Breakfast, this year held at Glendale Elks Lodge.

The program featured keynote address by Shannon Bradley, MBA, chief officer with Health, Equity, Inclusion and Community with Keck Medicine of USC. She spoke about how Dr. King’s principles continue to guide and inspire meaningful progress today.

“Being part of the Glendale MLK Day Community Gathering and Breakfast is a meaningful way to reflect on Dr. King’s message and reaffirm our commitment to remain in service of community,” said Bradley.

The event brought together community members and local organizations to honor Dr. King’s legacy and encourage continued dialogue around equity, inclusion and service.
