“Back in 2013, I had a dream – to create a sanctuary where women could press pause on the chaos, silence the noise and finally … just Be,” said certified clinical hypnotherapist Liza Boubari. That “sanctuary” was found at Glendale’s Embassy Suites. Some150 women gathered to “reignite their spark and remember their worth,” according to Boubari. The 10th anniversary of 3E’s – Evoke, Embrace and Evolve –was held on Saturday, Nov. 8.

The program began with a welcome by KTLA’s Ellina Abovian who shared her story of immigrating to the U.S. as a refugee and her journey to become a news anchor at the station she grew up watching. As the day’s emcee, Abovian introduced each speaker – Boubari, internist Dr. Hanriet Minassian, executive coach Craig Bruce, life coach Melanie Soloway and motivation speakers David Fagan and Ghosson Alhaled. Collectively, they taught their audience how to be healthy and wealthy.

Healing Circles, where participants got a chance to learn a little about each other, added further motivation to “reach out.” A buffet lunch and afternoon activities followed.
The day-long seminar ended with Boubari’s on-stage conversations with honorees teacher Arick Gevorkian, vision impaired Odet Nasseri, Anet Collection CEO Anet Abnous, and LA political veteran and consultant Baydsar Thomasian.
The $197 price tag for the day-long seminar was more than worth it according to Glendale resident Cecelia Walker.
“I learned to let go of expectations and remember my worth,” she said. “I have more energy, too.”
