On Sept. 20, Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton spoke to a crowded room at the Glendale Burbank Republican Assembly’s annual barbecue. This was the largest gathering of republicans in Glendale in many years. In addition to being a Republican candidate, Hilton is a former FOX Host.
About 150 guests filled the room of the Glendale Elks Lodge to hear Hilton’s plans to revive the California economy, educational system and manufacturing sectors. Hilton is the leading Republican candidate for governor.
One of the highlights of the event was a private VIP reception with Hilton organized by GBRA board members Allen Brandstater and Louis Barnett. These VIP guests met personally with Hilton, who participated in many selfies.
Glendale Burbank Republican Assembly’s president Lois Lee Billings thanked board members Joan Taylor, Louis Barnett, Diana Kronfli, Susan Marinov, John Merguerian, Raymond Lepone, Ina Jean Berger and Allen Brandstater for their efforts in organizing the event.
