Oct. 26

800 block of Wiladonda Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman reported that when she checked her mail she noticed a letter stating a credit card company was not able to extend credit to her “at this time.” She had not applied for credit with this specific company. She checked her credit report and found there were more credit inquiries on her account from various banks. She had not applied for credit at any of those institutions. 

The report was taken at 10 a.m.

Oct. 24

2500 block of Mayfield Avenue in Montrose, an informant reported while s/he was inside his/her home s/he noticed a male, described as a Hispanic (later identified as a suspect) with a shaved head and wearing a dark colored hooded jacket, dark colored shorts and dark colored shoes, standing in front of the wash near the residence. The suspect was speaking on a cellphone and looking at the wash. The informant spoke to the suspect, who then left the area. When the informant looked at the wash where the suspect had been spray painted graffiti was discovered. 

The vandalism occurred at 8:15 a.m.

800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, deputies responded to a call concerning a business burglary. When the deputies arrived they found the front glass door of the business had been shattered and a quarter of an inch cut on one bar of the steel cage that was in front of the business. The informant reported watching the live footage of his surveillance cameras and observed multiple people wearing light colored and dark colored clothing with masks attempted to enter the business. They were unable to gain access and left in a dark colored four-door sedan and a light colored four-door sedan at 4:37a.m. 

Oct. 23

5300 block of Alta Canyada Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a man reported that the interior of an unlocked vehicle was ransacked and several personal items were stolen including his checkbook. He received a notification from his bank stating that a check from his savings account had been deposited into a account of someone he did not know. The theft occurred overnight.
