Glendale Police Dept., Drug Enforcement Administration and CV Cares, through the iMPACT Foundation LA, will be holding a drug take-back event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church/Fire House.
People can bring outdated and unused drugs to the site that will be safely disposed.
“Medicine take-back options are the best ways to safely dispose of unused or expired prescriptions and non-prescriptions – for example, over the counter medicines,” according to DEA.
The collection of prescription and non-prescription drugs will be at Foothill Boulevard in front of the Fire House youth center, just east of Rosemont Avenue, 2563 Foothill Blvd.
