ALFie Players to Perform Disney’s ‘The Jungle Book, KIDS’

Swing into a fun jungle adventure for all ages this autumn! 

ALFie Players, featuring young actors in grades three through six, will present a special “KIDS” adaptation of Disney’s “The Jungle Book” on Friday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Lanterman Auditorium. This Action League of the Foothills drama production is based on the popular animated movie starring a young orphaned boy named Mowgli who befriends various creatures of the Indian jungle in a quest to survive in the wild. 

“The Jungle Book, KIDS” is sure to entertain audiences both young and old with its repertoire of heartwarming songs about friendship and found families. These songs include “The Bare Necessities,” “I Wanna Be Like You” and “That’s What Friends Are For.” All are invited to come and watch this lively musical experience!

The talented cast of 26 students from the local foothills area will perform under the direction of ALF drama director Katelyn Evenson,along with Tristan Waldron as assistant director and Nancy Abbott as musical director and accompanist.
