USC Verdugo Hills Hospital’s (USC-VHH) emergency department has received the 2025 Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Lantern Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership, practice, education and advocacy, resulting in improved patient care and staff well-being. 

  Fewer than 100 emergency departments nationwide received this distinction this year and USC-VHH is one of just six emergency departments in California to be recognized. This accomplishment reflects the unwavering dedication, excellence and forward-thinking approach demonstrated by the emergency department nurses at USC-VHH.
