Discovery Cube is a leading Southern California children’s science museum. It is opening its doors all summer long to Southern California families looking for a place to cool off and enjoy science-riffic exhibits and activities. 

The Rescue Exhibition is now open at Discovery Cube Los Angeles, 11800 Foothill Blvd. in Sylmar, through Sept. 1. This seasonal exhibit drops guests into the thrilling world of emergency response where science meets bravery. With 17 different experiences, visitors can climb aboard a full-size helicopter simulator, spot heat signals with infrared cameras and test their skills in jet ski navigation as they search for swimmers in distress. Fight virtual fires, perform surf rescues and learn survival strategies in high-stakes scenarios. Along the way, discover the gear and medical techniques first responders use to save lives.
