On Sunday morning, field deputies from the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station received information that a stolen vehicle may be driving around the area. Deputies Krajewski and Howell began to comb the area for the car. At around 8:50 a.m., they saw the car driving westbound Foothill Boulevard from Briggs Avenue. They caught up to the vehicle as it pulled into a shopping center at the 2600 block of Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta. The deputies quickly and safely detained the three occupants of the vehicle. The two juveniles were detained for grand theft auto. The one male adult was arrested for grand theft auto. Deputies also learned one suspect was on probation for burglary and shooting at an inhabited dwelling.
