Friedman to Host Photography Exhibition in Glendale ‘Gallery 43’

Tomorrow, Oct. 5, Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) will host a photography exhibition titled “Gallery 43” in the historic structure at the Adams Square Mini Park in Glendale.

The gallery will be a showcase of 20 selections from her 43rd Assembly District Photography Competition that ran from August-September which invited members of the public to submit photographs that communicated the identity of their community. The submitted works were judged by a panel of accomplished and renowned photographers who call the 43rd Assembly District home: Ara Oshagan, Jerry DeWilde and Catherine McGann.

She will be joined by members of the public, local artists, elected officials including representatives from the City of Glendale, and community leaders including representatives from the Adams Hill Neighborhood Association. A brief program will begin at 7 p.m. where she will announce a selection of winners from the competition who will have their works displayed in the Capitol and District offices.
