Today at 1:02 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Boston Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta. Upon contact the male driver of the vehicle produced a handgun and the officer fired one round. A pursuit ensued and the vehicle was lost in the area of Tujunga. The investigation is ongoing.
