4700 block of La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, an electric saw and electric drill were stolen and the passenger door lock was broken on a vehicle overnight.

4300 block of Briggs Avenue in Montrose, a radio, vacuum and several tools were stolen and the driver’s side window was shattered and the driver’s side keyhole was punched on a vehicle overnight.

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee of a store reported that while he was working in the back of the store a man described as white, wearing a grey sweatshirt, black pants and black and white shoes ran behind the counter and stole the victim’s Samsung Galaxy cellphone and then took several packages of cigarettes from a display.

The theft occurred at 10:05 a.m.

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an iPad mini was stolen from a table in front of a business. The victim reported that he was sitting at a table outside the business with his 7-year-old son. When his order came up he asked his son to stay at the table while he got the order. His son decided to come with his dad and when they returned the iPad was gone.

The theft occurred at 4:30 p.m.
