Community Invited to Pancakes and General Meeting
The Crescenta Valley Town Council is excited to announce two upcoming events that foster community engagement and support local youth.
First, mark your calendars for the pancake breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s of the Mountains, 2563 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. This beloved community event promises a morning filled with delicious pancakes and the opportunity to connect with friends and neighbors. The proceeds from this breakfast will contribute to scholarships awarded to local high school seniors at the end of the school year, making it a meaningful way to support our youth. Attendees are encouraged to come with a hearty appetite! Tickets are only $10 and include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice!
In addition to the breakfast, the Town Council invites everyone to its general meeting on Oct. 17, the third Thursday of this month, at 7 p.m., held at the La Crescenta Library, 2809 Foothill Blvd. This month’s meeting will feature a special presentation by Assemblymember Laura Friedman who will offer insights on important local issues. It’s a wonderful chance for residents to engage with decision-makers and participate in discussions that impact our area.
Both events are excellent opportunities for residents to come together, share ideas and support one another. We look forward to seeing you there!
