Fan Appreciation Night
Crescenta Valley Falcons Baseball is hosting its 15th Annual Fan Appreciation Night at Stengel Field in Glendale on Friday, May 6. The event will include the Falcons’ baseball game being played against Pasadena at 7 p.m., gates open at 5:30 p.m. There will be food, raffle prizes, face painting, and a chance to support the baseball program.
The goal is to create a fun night for athletic supporters to come out, watch some Falcon baseball and raise money for the program. Crescenta Valley Falcons would also like to give back to the community by partnering with the West Glendale Kiwanis in collecting and donating canned/boxed goods to the two local Glendale food banks. For each canned/boxed good a fan brings, they’ll receive a raffle ticket.

Goodwill Donation Drive
The Rose Bowl Water Polo Club (RBWP) is having a Goodwill donation drive in Pasadena on Saturday, May 14 to raise money for the water polo programs at Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and create awareness for Goodwill’s self-improvement programs. RBWP is inviting everyone to help the young athletes and the community by bringing their gently-used items on Saturday to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Parking lot near Arroyo Street. Goodwill will be accepting a variety of donations, including but not limited to: clothing, children’s toys, cookware, books, sporting goods, and small appliances.
