April 4, 1945 – Dec. 4, 2018

Sally was born on April 4, 1945 in Stirling, Scotland to Hugh and Irene Wilson. Sally lived in Alexandria, Scotland until the age 13 when she and her older sister, Norma, moved to the United States to join her parents and younger siblings who had immigrated to America several months earlier.
Sally attended and graduated from Franklin High School in Los Angeles and, later in her life, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with cum laude honors from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Sally pursued a career in the legal profession starting as a legal secretary when she was 18 years old and ending as the chief regional operations officer for the international law firm of Perkins Coie when she retired in 2014. Sally called Sierra Madre home from the late 1960s until her passing.
On April 22, 2000, Sally married Mario Cano, also from Sierra Madre. In addition, Sally was the mother of four children: Sean, Erick, Brian and Sara Crawford. Sally, also known as Morag (her Scottish/Gaelic name), was well-known for her contagious smile, quick wit, loving nature and, particularly, her integrity, determination and kindness. In addition to her Scottish heritage, Sally was most proud of being a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Sally is survived by her husband Mario Cano; her children Sean Crawford and his wife Solana Crawford, Erick Crawford, Brian Crawford and his wife Rose Crawford, Sara Peckham and her husband Damond Peckham; her five grandchildren: Alexia and Joaquín Crawford and Harrison, Gunnar and Fiona Peckham; her sister Norma Crosby and her husband Phil Crosby; sister Elaine Sladeck; brother Hugh Wilson.
Sally was truly one-of-a-kind and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
