Dec. 19
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a vehicle was vandalized between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

Dec. 18
4400 block of Sunset Avenue in Montrose, the rear passenger side window was smashed and items were stolen from a vehicle between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Dec. 17
3100 block of El Caminito Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported that while reviewing her property’s video surveillance she saw two men, about 18 to 20 years old, stealing her catalytic converter. The surveillance showed that while one of the men raised the vehicle with a floor jack and cut the catalytic converter from the vehicle the other man acted as look-out.

The catalytic converter was stolen at 6 a.m.

 

600 block of Hook Tree Road in La Cañada Flintridge, the rear window of a home was smashed and items were stolen overnight.

 

800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, a woman reported after she arrived at her work at a local bookstore she placed her purse on the desk in her office and went to work in the front of the store. When she returned a few hours later she found that her wallet was missing from her purse. She learned that two of her credit cards had fraudulent transactions on them with purchases a Vons Market and Armstrong’s Garden store.

The theft occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Dec. 15
1200 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, the door lock on a vehicle had been punched while it was parked in a school parking lot. Nothing was reported stolen. The attempted vehicle burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Dec. 14
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, wireless earbuds/headphones and a charging case were stolen from student’s backpack while at Crescenta Valley High School. The student stated she had placed the items in the front zippered pocket of her backpack at the start of the school day. Her backpack is too large to fit inside the physical education locker so she normally left it at the front of her locker but she would take out the items from the pocket and would place them in the locker. She forgot on Dec. 14 to put the items in the locker.

When she returned from class she found the items had been stolen. The theft occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.

Dec. 13
300 block of Nancy Way in La Cañada Flintridge, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between Dec. 13 and Dec. 15.
