At the 2018 tree lighting ceremony at the La Crescenta Library, the outside of the building not only displayed a giant tree but also a faux fireplace.
The annual La Crescenta tree lighting ceremony is tonight, Thursday, Dec. 12 at the library. Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. when participants create LED cards with MakeMo. At 4:30 p.m., Buster Balloon will amaze guests followed by live music in the courtyard at 5 p.m. Free photos with Santa begin at 5:15 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. is the official tree lighting ceremony in the courtyard.
This event is open to the entire community and is free to attend. This event is sponsored by, La County 5th District Supervisor, Kathryn Barger and the Friends of La Crescenta Library.
Refreshments will be served.
The La Crescenta Library is located at 2809 Foothill Blvd.
