A woman was struck in the crosswalk at Union Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge on Saturday about 5 p.m.

“The [victim] may have been jogging,” said Sgt. Taylor, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept.-Crescenta Valley Station.

It appeared the driver was traveling westbound in the left lane when it struck the female pedestrian. It was determined that speed was not a factor. The driver stopped.

The woman was transported to the hospital where she remains, according to LASD-Crescenta Valley Station.
