A GoFundMe page has been set up for the Elze family. Brad Elze, 56, a La Crescenta resident and father of two, was the victim of a fatal traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Tujunga.

Celebrating Korean Culture

A Korean barbecue fundraiser for the CV High School music department takes place tomorrow, Saturday, at the quad at CVHS from 4 pm to 7 pm. Cost is $15 per plate. Live music and delicious food.

Also on Saturday from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm at La Canada Memorial Park is the 2nd Annual Korean Culture Festival. Free event. Dance performances, music and traditional games.

OUAT is 50

Once Upon A Time, the nation’s oldest children’s bookstore, celebrates its 50th anniversary on Sunday at noon at the Montrose Harvest Market. Celebration includes cake, story time, a photo booth, raffle prizes and more. Harvest Market is in the 2300-2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue in Montrose.
