She parked her vehicle in the driveway and went to the front door of the residence. As she opened the door she reported hearing a loud thumping coming from the rear of the home. She turned on some lights and walked toward the rear door to investigate the noise. She saw a man described as 20-to-25 years old, 6’ tall, weighing 180 to 195 lbs., wearing a black or dark blue hoody sweatshirt jacket, black baseball cap and khaki pants. There was a second man who appeared to be the same age, height and weight of the first man but was wearing a white T-shirt. The second man was standing next to the rear French doors.
After seeing the woman, both men immediately exited the French doors and ran around to the front of the home. The woman ran toward the front of the house and confronted the suspects. After an investigation, it was discovered the suspect had three outstanding warrants for his arrest and he was on probation for burglary. He told the Mercedes driver to pull over because they “needed to speak.”
The two drivers pulled their vehicles over at La Crescenta and Community avenues. The Jetta driver got out of his vehicle and began pounding on the Mercedes’ front window and driver’s side window.
