The Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival hosted 242 vendors who took part in the two day Festival that saw an estimated 40,000 people enjoying the event. Sunday seemed to have the biggest crowd.
In addition to a variety of vendors, music was heard on nearly every corner. On the main stage at Ocean View Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue fan favorite The Ploughboys and Beatles tribute band Ticket to Ride. Additional artists included Georgic Avanesian, acoustic guitar artist who often plays at the Montrose Harvest Market.
“We kept hearing ‘Best one ever’ from our vendors as well as from our shoppers,” said Dale Dawson, Montrose Shopping Park Association administrator/events coordinator. “One shopper stated, ‘I’ve been coming for over 30 years and this was the best one yet.’”
