Detectives from the Glendale Police Dept. Vice/Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation on a male who was believed to be selling illegal drugs out of a residence on the 300-block of North Orange Street.

Detectives initiated undercover surveillance of the male, later identified as 49-year-old Fernando Elias of La Mirada, and witnessed him engaging in what appeared to be illegal drug sales.

After further investigation into Elias, detectives obtained and served a search warrant at the above residence where they detained Elias (who was on probation) along with three other adults including 33-year-old Reynan Salazar of Los Angeles, 47-year-old Rose Crespo of Los Angeles (who was also on probation) and 38-year-old Maria Diaz of Van Nuys.

During a search of the residence, detectives seized a firearm, large amounts of methamphetamine, heroin, oxycodone and cash along with identification and identity profiles belonging to other people.

Elias and Salazar were arrested for multiple charges including illegal narcotics sales while in possession of a firearm; Crespo and Diaz  were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
