April 11

2800 block of Sanborn Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported seeing a man walking up and down the street in front of his home, described as Armenian between the ages of 35 and 40, 5’7” tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He had a medium complexion, short black hair and was wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt, black pants and blue or green slippers. The resident became suspicious because the suspect was walking back and forth most of the day. In the late afternoon the man appeared to be leaning down behind his vehicle. The resident ran out of the house and saw that two of his vehicle’s tires had been slashed. The suspect was running away from the area. The man chased the suspect and grabbed him by his shirt but the suspect broke free and fled the area.

The incident occurred at 5 p.m.

 

 

April 10

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee parked his vehicle in the parking lot of a store. Later in the day his manager contacted him and told him that the tires of his vehicle had been slashed. He reviewed surveillance footage and saw a suspect approach and walk around his vehicle; a few minutes later the vehicle could be seen lowering due to the flat tires. The suspect was described as a male with a slim build and dark hair.

The incident occurred at 12:45 p.m.

 

 

April 1

3000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a resident parked his vehicle in an underground parking lot and returned home only to find that all four tires on his vehicle had been slashed between 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

2800 block of Sanborn Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported that all four tires of his wife’s vehicle had been slashed overnight.
