Laura Friedman Asks: How Are Our Schools Responding to COVID-19?
The community is invited to the next tele-town hall hosted by Assemblymember Laura Friedman. She will be discussing how educators, students and families are dealing with the many challenges the pandemic has posed to everyone.
With stay-at-home orders sparking a quick turn-around from traditional schooling to online learning, teachers and administrators are grappling with the complexities of continuing to serve students and families through a digital format.
Take part in a telephone town hall where conversations will be held with superintendents and teachers from around the district on how they are implementing remote learning and continuing to provide the services many students and families rely on.
“Education and the COVID-19 Crisis Tele-Town Hall” is going to be held on Saturday, April 18 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dial-in: (888) 273-3658; access code: 7172428.
