March 26

4300 block of Briggs Avenue in Montrose, a resident came into the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station and reported witnessing a suspect, described as a male black, 20 to 22 years old who was wearing a camouflaged green jacket, grey sweatpants, black shoes and purple latex gloves, enter his driveway. The man walked toward a locked gate that led to his backyard. The resident yelled at the man who turned and fled the area. The suspect got into the front passenger door of a waiting four-door, black Cadillac. The car drove away at 5:04 p.m.

 

 

March 25

1300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man reported that as he was walking his dog he saw a shattered glass window at a business. The owner of the business reported nothing was missing from the business at 11:14 p.m.

 

 

March 24

3000 block of El Caminito Drive in La Crescenta, a woman reported discovering that jewelry was stolen from her home safe. The only day she can remember when the safe would have been exposed is in December during a backyard barbecue.

The theft may have occurred between Dec. 24, 2019 and March 26, 2020.
