600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, two suspects, described as a male and female, both Hispanic, entered a store. The female was described as wearing a black hat, white long sleeve shirt and jeans. The male was described as wearing a blue collared button-up shirt and blue jeans. Both walked over to where the purses were and used shirts to hide that they were demagnetizing the handbags with a handheld magnet. They removed the security cords and took a purse out of the store without attempting to pay.
The theft occurred at 11:40 a.m.

900 block of Saint Katherine Drive in La Cañada, an alarm company notified a resident that the motion alarm system at his home had been activated. After an investigation, surveillance footage revealed two males, described as possibly black or Hispanic, walking up the balcony stairs of the home. Suspect No. 1 was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood tightened around his face, black pants with red trim running down the seam, black and white shoes and black gloves. Suspect No. 2 was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt tightened around his face, black Nike sweat pants, black Nike shoes and red and white gloves. Suspect No. 1 was seen throwing a rock through the glass door then they both entered the home. They were later seen running from the home.
The residential burglary occurred between 3:01 p.m. and 3:03 p.m.
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a suspect entered a store, cut the security cord to a purse and left the store without attempting to pay for the item. The suspect is well known to store security as he has stolen items in the past.
The theft occurred at 7:36 p.m.

4900 block of Palm Drive in La Cañada, the rear passenger window was shattered and a backpack and computer were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
