Angeles Crest Highway in Angeles National Forest, a wallet was stolen from a locked vehicle between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Feb. 20
2300 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, as a driver was passing the location he heard the sound of glass breaking. He turned back to the location and witnessed a male adult enter the location through the broken glass door; he then saw the suspect leave with a full grocery bag. Surveillance footage showed a White male adult, wearing a green zip-up hoodie, white and black plaid shorts, black shoes with red accents and a gray mask who had a red grocery bag, use a hammer to break the glass door of the business. Once the glass was broken he went into the store, filled a grocery bag with cigarettes and Lottery Scratchers, then run out of the location and entered a black sedan that drove out of view.
The burglary occurred at 4:55 a.m.
Feb. 19
900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, bottles of alcohol were stolen from a store. Surveillance footage revealed a white Jeep Cherokee backed into a parking stall to the east of the store. A suspect dressed in a red tracksuit exited the driver’s seat of the Jeep; another suspect dressed all in black exited the front passenger seat.
The first suspect entered the front door followed by the second suspect. They walked directly to the liquor aisle; the first suspect had a plastic bag, the second suspect had a pillowcase. They each took several bottles of liquor, put them in the bags, ran out of the store, got into their vehicle and drove away.
The theft occurred between 2:37 p.m. and 2:39 p.m.
2700 block of Pinelawn Drive in La Crescenta, several personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
3000 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
Feb. 18
500 block of Freeman Avenue in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between Feb. 18 and Feb. 21.
