Body Found on La Tuna Canyon

Los Angeles police officers were called at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday to the area of La Tuna Canyon west of the Foothill (210) Freeway concerning a body that was found down the ravine.

Officers discovered a male Hispanic in his 20s who was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This incident is not considered gang-related. The victim did appear to be homeless, according to an LAPD spokesman.

The victim’s identity and cause of death had not been released by the LA County Coroner as of press time.
