1900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the rear window of a vehicle was shattered but nothing was reported stolen. The vandalism occurred between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

4100 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada, a resident reported returning home to find his front gate and front doors damaged. A few items were reported missing and several doors including the rear patio door had been damaged between 9:50 a.m. and 6:10 p.m.

Jan. 8

500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman reported that she was at a store and realized she had left her wallet at the checkout line. She returned to the store and found her wallet but cash was missing; everything else was in the wallet.

The theft occurred at 2 p.m.

Jan. 4

2700 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, the front fender and bumper were damaged and the right front headlight was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

4400 block of Oakwood Avenue in La Cañada, a backpack full of camera equipment was stolen from the trunk of a car and the interior of a vehicle was ransacked overnight.

4200 block of Woodleigh Lane in La Cañada, the front gate of a home had been forced open, several rooms were ransacked and items were stolen between Dec. 30 and Jan. 5.
