At 10 a.m. on Sunday, Glendale police responded to a call concerning an accident regarding a pedestrian and Metro bus on Foothill Boulevard near Dunsmore Avenue.

A 19-year-old female pedestrian who lived out of the area was struck by the bus and was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to the LA County Coroner’s Office, the cause of death was “multiple blunt force trauma” and the manner of death was suicide.

Metro representatives were on scene and cooperated with authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
