Prepare to dive deep into an under the sea adventure this fall!
ALFie Players, which features local actors in grades three through six, will present a special “KIDS” adaptation of Disney’s “Finding Nemo” on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in Lanterman Auditorium. This Assistance League of Flintridge drama production is based on the popular animated movie, which stars a father clownfish named Marlin who swims across the Pacific Ocean in search of his beloved son Nemo with the help of a few unlikely friends along the way.
“Finding Nemo – KIDS” is sure to entertain both young and old audience members with its repertoire of heartwarming songs about family, friendship and their many challenges. These songs include “In the Big Blue World,” “Fish Are Friends, Not Food” and “Just Keep Swimming.” All are welcome to come and “sea” this onstage musical experience.
The talented young cast of 25 will perform under the direction of ALF drama director Katelyn Fike along with Tristan Waldron as assistant director and Nancy Abbott as musical director and accompanist.
Lanterman Auditorium is located at 4491 Cornishon Ave. in La Cañada Flintridge. Admission is free. For more information, visit ALFlintridge.org or call (818) 790-2211.
