LCPC Parent Education is hosting a new class specially designed for parents who cannot attend on the weekdays. This class will provide a rich atmosphere for parents and children ages 0-5 to enjoy: outside play on two new age appropriate play grounds, crafts, and circle time together. It will also allow a 45-minute parent only teaching time for parents led by Parent Ed Instructor Christa Peitzman while children are supervised by teaching assistants and helping parents.

The class will meet every Saturday in March from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Peitzman. Subjects each week in order are 10 Successful Parenting Techniques;

Family Meals, Nutrition and Food Challenges; Family Communication and on March 26 Potty Problems, Sleep Problems and other Parenting Challenges.

The cost is $50 to attend all four sessions.

Also on the calendar is the LCPC Parent Education annual Open House during March 15-17 when anyone interested in experiencing the program firsthand can come for a free trial class. For registration, class schedules and program details call the Parent Education office at (818) 790-6708 x 205 or visit www.lacanadapc.org/parented.
