The Joys of Shopping Montrose This Christmas

Did you know that in addition to hosting the annual Montrose-Glendale Christmas Parade, the small merchants of the Montrose Shopping Park were also a platinum sponsor? Yes, we believe in this beloved tradition that has been going on for 37 years. Each year has a different twist and this year I enjoyed riding in the “Cinderella carriage,” a white horse-drawn carriage, with my husband Dale and MSPA President Ken Grayson and his wife Christie. The horses drawing the trolley behind us were dressed like reindeer and carried board members Andre Ordubegian (Copy Network), Corey Grijalva (Joselitos) and GiGi Garcia (It Takes A Village Kids) and their families. It was truly a grand time! Of course I took lots of pictures to share and have posted them on our Montrose Shopping Park Facebook page where you will find the latest  inside info about what’s going on in our stores, salons, & restaurants.

The beautiful Merle Norman sisters Kim Kelly and Kris Kline and their staff are ready to get you looking good for your holiday parties. This year it’s all about the eyes. Their “All Eye Want” is one of many great gifts for someone on your list. You’ll find mascara, eye makeup remover, and lashes in the cutest little black & white hound’stooth bag! They will even apply the extra lashes for you! We also congratulate Kim on winning a seat on the MSPA board! We were walking by The Clothing Market (2260 Honolulu Ave.) the other night and were drawn in by the beautiful colors and festive displays. I just love their “all lime” Christmas tree that beautifully enhances the brown and lime décor of the store.
