It’s that time of year again! The Annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration at CV High is right around the corner. To help fund this patriotic day of family fun, the CV Fireworks Association is holding a BINGO night on Saturday, June 8 at Verdugo Hills Memorial Hall, 4011 La Crescenta Ave. Tickets are $20 per person and include six cards for 10 games. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the first game begins at 6 p.m. For advance tickets, drop by the CV Chamber Office between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Thursday) or Friday!

The chamber would like to take a moment to congratulate J’s Maintenance on its 50th anniversary! Chris Waldheim is exceedingly involved with not only the Chamber but has become an integral part of so much that happens in and around the foothills. In addition to community service, Chris is also an active hiker and mountain biker. There is a good chance you may cross paths with Chris if you explore the Verdugo Mountains or Angeles National Forest. In addition to our community, Chris is also committed to sustainable and green energy practices for the good of the environment as a whole. The Waldheim family has become a huge part of this community and we hope they continue to be for the next 50 years!
