The Women’s Council of Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation (VHHF) is holding its inaugural Poinsettia Ball fundraising gala on Friday, Dec. 3 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $175 per person.
The event will consist of fine dining, entertainment and a live auction, along with a new and unique raffle featuring 16 various-themed “Trees and Treasures.” Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in a live auction consisting of four vacation packages, including a Jamaican vacation. Proceeds from this event will support capital equipment needs at VHH.
“We are very excited about the upcoming Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation’s Poinsettia Ball and have been working tirelessly to orchestrate a truly unique and elegant experience,” said Suzonne Slaughter, chair of the Poinsettia Ball and a Women’s Council member.
“The Trees and Treasures displays are promising to showcase a variety of original and creative designs,” Slaughter added. “Kate Kaneko (Women’s Council member) and I are having fun creating our culinary tree. There are sports-related trees featuring a USC motif and a golf motif. Trees are also being trimmed with a Disney theme, an American Girl Doll themed tree and, my particular favorite, a chocolate-themed tree.”
