On Sept.11, La Cañada’s North Shore Burgers partnered with the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge for a fundraiser with 10% of the restaurant’s proceeds to be donated to the Community Center.

“This is a great way for local community businesses and nonprofits to partner together,” said La Cañada City Councilmember Michael Davitt and co-owner of North Shore Burgers. Started by two friends, North Shore Burgers has invited area nonprofits to participate in their “Tuesday Fundraising Days.”

“Our preschool families, teachers, instructors, participants and friends attended the fundraiser at North Shore Burgers and everyone had a great time supporting the cause,” said Deb Jordan, executive director of the Community Center.
