Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center (GMHHC) unveiled the S. H. Ho Plaza, the main corridor along Laurel Avenue in front of the hospital, in honor of the S. H. Ho Foundation and its generous gift of $2.5 million.

“GMHHC has truly changed and improved its care for the community because of the generosity of David Ho and the S. H. Ho Foundation,” said Jill Welton, GMHHC hospital president. “Through this major gift, Glendale Memorial has remodeled its GI department, refreshed its labor and delivery department, and added the latest technology to its catheterization labs, providing patients with enhanced services for heart and stroke care.”

During the dedication ceremony, David Ho shared his family’s philosophy of kindness and generosity.

“In 1970, our grandfather started this foundation to help with education and medical care, particularly focused on the disadvantaged and underprivileged,” said Ho. “It is our pleasure to support the health of our community.”
