Baylor University of Waco, Tex. conferred degrees on more than 2,000 graduates during spring commencement exercises May 14-15 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus. From the foothill community Julia Christine Musker of La Cañada received her BA in journalism and was named on the dean’s list. Kymberly Grace MacNeal of La Crescenta received her BA, university scholar.

John Gantus of Glendale received his BA in public relations and Christopher Tomashek of Tujunga received his BS biocomputer engineering from Marquette University. The pair were two of more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students who received their diplomas on May 23 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
