Weird Tujunga Presented at Bolton Hall

Historian and author Mike Lawler joins the Bolton Hall Museum presenting little-known stories about Tujunga’s crazy, spooky and sometimes “out of this world” past.

The Tujunga Wash is well known as an historical UFO hot spot! Tujunga’s name is thousands of years old! Who created the name and what does it mean? Norma Jean Baker, aka Marilyn Monroe, had a favorite hangout here. Why was a famous hippie commune located here? And what happened during the Big Tujunga train crash of 1942?

Come to this program and get answers to these and more questions about our past.

This event is on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. It is free to attend and open to the public; everyone is welcome.

Bolton Hall Museum, home of Little Landers Historical Society, is located at 10110 Commerce Ave. in Tujunga.
