Thanks to Montrose Parade Committee
Thank you to Cheryl Davis and the Montrose Christmas Parade Assn. volunteers for their efforts and energy for putting together another great Christmas parade for all of us! It is events like this that make me glad I am raising my daughter in La Crescenta. It reminds me of growing up in Burbank in the 1970s and to be amongst our neighbors and others last Saturday was a great experience.

Thank you Cheryl for all you do for our town!

Urges L.A. to Go for Olympics
To Members of the United States Olympic Committee,

We write to express our strong support for bringing the 2024 Summer Olympic Games home to Los Angeles.

As the United States Olympic Committee considers an American bid, we at the state level are eager to partner with the City of Los Angeles to ensure not only a successful bid but a successful Olympic Games.

Our region is a thriving metropolitan area that has long-served as an embodiment of the Olympic spirit. The city has twice previously successfully hosted the Games and stands ready to make history as the only American city to host the Olympics a third time. The city’s natural beauty, world-famous entertainment venues, and sophisticated infrastructure network make Los Angeles the ideal place to help bring the Olympics back to America.

We look forward to working with both the USOC and the City of Los Angeles in helping deliver a successful bid that showcases the diversity, hospitality, and vitality of Los Angeles.
