		<description><![CDATA[It is almost humorous to read about these historical events happening in our sleepy little valley. As someone born in the midst of the Civil Rights Movements of the early 60s, the thought of these covenants existing let alone being enforced is hard to believe. I shake my head to think of those times when people were so worried about their precious neighborhoods going down the tubes due to &quot;people of color&quot;! 

I hope someday my grand-kids will read Mike&#039;s grand-kid&#039;s articles about how people in California freaked out when gays wanted equal rights so they could marry their betrothed. &quot;There was a time Johnny when your mothers could not have married. People were frightened. They deemed it wrong!&quot; Jeeeze....]]></description>
